Tell us why your family is priceless? 

“I’ve always said I raised a family of generals, all leaders and no followers. Every person is strong, stubborn, loving and a drama queen, making it interesting when we’re together.” 

What gets you out of bed in the morning? 

It’s a fresh start with the potential to serve my friends and family well. How do you think your friends would describe you? 

“They would say I’m joyful, friendly, super corny, and loyal to a fault. I like joking around and I laugh at my own jokes even when nobody else is laughing. ” 

What do you do to relax? 

“Playing my favorite video game or catching a good action movie. But I love the satisfaction of finishing a large jigsaw puzzle. I also dabble in stamps and coin collecting.” 

Name one thing on your bucket list? 

“I’d like to skydive again, which I haven’t done since leaving the military.” 

What’s your proudest achievement to date? 

“Two years ago, I lost 45 lbs and am still maintaining - mostly.”
